1. Intended Use

ChainHelper is designed to guide and support anchor chain during controlled handling

operations.

The product is intended for use only as described in this manual. Any other use,

including but not limited to lifting, load-bearing, personnel support, or safety-critical

applications, is strictly prohibited.

2. User Responsibility

This product must be installed, operated, and maintained by a competent person with

appropriate mechanical knowledge.

The user is solely responsible for ensuring that the product is installed correctly and

used in a safe manner and in accordance with all applicable laws, standards, and

regulations.

Before each use, the user must inspect the product for wear, damage, loosened

fasteners, or misalignment. The product must not be used if any defect is found.

3. Modification & Misuse

Unauthorized modification, drilling, cutting, or alteration of any part of the product voids

all warranties and releases the manufacturer from any responsibility for resulting

damage or injury.

The manufacturer shall not be responsible for any damage or injury resulting from:

Incorrect installation

Improper use

Use outside the intended purpose

Use with incompatible equipment

Failure to follow these instructions

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the manufacturer and distributor

shall not be liable for any damage, injury, or loss arising from the installation, use,

misuse, modification, or failure of this product.

The manufacturer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential

damages, including but not limited to:

Loss of income

Equipment damage

Vessel damage

Downtime

Secondary or consequential losses

Liability, where legally required, is limited to repair or replacement of the product only.

5. No Safety Device

This product is not a safety device.

It must not be relied upon as the sole means of preventing personal injury, equipment

damage, or operational failure.

6. Warranty Disclaimer

Except where required by law, this product is supplied “as is” without warranties of any

kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability,

durability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Regulatory Compliance

The user is responsible for ensuring that installation and use of this product complies

with all applicable local, national, and international regulations, including marine safety

and equipment standards.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This product is sold under Norwegian law.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any dispute, claim, or legal proceeding arising

out of or in connection with this product, its sale, installation, or use shall be governed

by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of

law principles.

Nothing in this section shall limit or exclude any mandatory rights afforded to

consumers under applicable EU or national consumer protection legislation.
